i miss you.

kind of.

so far, made a's on everything i've done this semester.  we'll see wednesday if it still holds up.  bought some epoxy for the pedal.  everything i wind up doing to it presents another new learning curve.  i really don't want to mess it up at this point.  the farther along you get on something, the more reluctant you are to take chances with it.  i like where it's at right now but it's nowhere near perfect.  scared the next step will screw everything up that i've worked on.  the first treadle took months to do and when i finally got to stain it, i screwed it up and it looks like a chocolate covered pretzel.  -i miss so many people.  i've had a lot of really really good friendships that really have no chance to blossom anymore.  distance is a beast.  one of the reasons i want this business to work.  have all my friends back around.  i've found a great girl.  i'm not the romantic i once was and that's kind of a shame but i really enjoy that area of my life again.  sorry this jumped around so much.  hope this finds you having a great day.

This is the first time in my life I've ever been attached to pets.  Went to feed the girls (my pet rats) and Carmen was choking.  Everything on the internet said it was normal and to wait it out unless they stopped moving or their feet started turning blue.  I sat on the floor and opened her cage and she climbed in my lap and laid there.  After an hour or so, I couldn't take it and she seemed more and more stressed so I tried to do everything the websites said to do to dislodge it and she finally stopped breathing all together.  She was the most laid back, charming animal.  I really, really feel bad right now.
